Fixing a smile –

Children are good for the soul. They are like sponges. They learn by soaking up the world and can even sense the emotional state of others around them.

“Mimi, can you pick me up. I want to give you a hug.” Dani smiles up at me and stretches out her arms.  I pick her up and she wraps her arms around my neck and squeezes hard. She’s grunting.

“Ah, that was sweet, Honey. What was that for?”

“I wanted to fix your smile. It didn’t look right.”

Kids, you got to love ’em.
