Timeless - National Harbor
Timeless – National Harbor

What is time but a measurement,
the beats within the breasts of men–
and women–
to weigh against infinity,
the memorial of dust upon the shelf of life
that once held the tiny, jeweled box where love had been.

A face at the window
left unchecked.
A flower without scent.
A lover by the river,
pockets full of rocks.
A remarkable life–
